Marion ISD and its campuses use ParentSquare for school communication, primarily with email, text and app notifications. ParentSquare automatically generates an account for each parent, using their preferred email address and phone number associated with their child's records. We encourage parents to access their accounts so they can download the mobile app and update their preferences on when and how they are notified.
Here’s what you can do with ParentSquare:
-
Receive messages from the school via email, text or app notification
-
Choose to receive information as it comes or all at once with a daily digest at 6pm
-
Communicate in your preferred language
-
Direct message teachers
-
Participate in group messages
-
Sign up for parent-teacher conferences
-
Sign forms & permission slips
-
Sign up to volunteer and more all from your desktop or mobile device
All families are sent registration emails at the start of the school year, but they can also register without this message. Families can visit www.parentsquare.com/sign in to register with either the email or phone number they have on file with their child’s school.

How We Communicate
Marion ISD is committed to keeping our families informed, connected, and engaged through clear and consistent communication.
Our district uses ParentSquare for school-to-home communication, delivering important updates through email, text, and app notifications. ParentSquare automatically syncs with our Student Information System to create an account for each parent using their preferred email address and phone number. We encourage families to log in, customize their notification settings, and download the mobile app for the best experience.
ParentSquare provides a safe, secure, and modern approach to communication and collaboration across our district.
In addition to ParentSquare, Marion ISD stays connected with our community through our official Facebook and Instagram pages, where we share news, celebrations, reminders, and snapshots of life across our campuses.
