
For all fifth and and eight grade Special Education students who are not successful on the first administration of the Reading and Math STAAR test, the parent(s)/guardian(s) have the following option:
1. Have the student participate in the second administration of the assessments
2. Waive the second administration of the assessments and hold an ARD to:
a. Develop an Accelerated Individual Plan for the student
b. Discuss the student's progress on their IEP's and determine grade placement.
